“He was a great kisser,” said Chakli, 74. “Everything that has been said about him is true.”
“But he was also a gentleman,” she continued. “And you know his wife was on set at every moment. He was very awake. So the idea of stealing a kiss didn’t come to us. But this scene was so sacred, pure. It was very special to me. ”

However, licking lips with James Bond was not always so easy.
“I remember we were filming our kissing scene,” Carrera recalled. “We looked up and was there [his wife] Michelin is the star behind us back. He immediately took us out of sight. So, C took him out of the set. We laughed about the fact that a lot of time was spent after the shooting of the film. Michelin had a sense of humor about the whole thing. ”
Carrera said he was initially offered to star in the 1983 “Octopus” starring Roger Moore as 007. However, when he heard that Connery was preparing to appear in the next film about Save the Secret Agent, he refused the part. Meaning taking a small role.
Kaner Neri initially promised that Bond would never play again as he is eager to take on different roles. However, they were pulled back by a fabit script about a middle-aged 007. “When I learned Sean Connery was coming back to do another Bond film, I knew I had to do it,” Carrera said. “It was a movie that everyone wanted to see. So I agreed with it without thinking twice, without ever seeing the script. I just want to work with my hero. It was my bond. It was the one I grew up with. So the opportunity to reject me was unbelievable. “
“Sean Kerner is a mere bond,” he continued. “He had a magnetism about him that just pulled you in. He was a man of man. He was the kind of guy men wanted to imitate. And women wanted to be dominated by him. All the other bonds have tried to capture that magic, but it’s just something that can’t be copied. It’s just theirs. “
Former Playboy cover girl, professional killer Fatima Blush starred in “Never Save Never Again”. But despite his hard-nosed personality, Carrera said it was hard to melt looking at Connery when he went on the first set.
“When I looked into his eyes, I saw Bond,” he recalls. “It was difficult to separate man from character. But as I got to know him I saw things about him that weren’t quite bondish. He was a very sensitive man. He appreciated the music when we weren’t giving the film away. And even though I was very nervous, he was always patient and kind to me. I will never forget how he felt. It was magical. “

According to Carrera, one thing she didn’t expect from her idol was when it came to the shooting of “Never Say No Again”.
“He was afraid of the ocean,” he shared. “He and I had a scene where we had to dive into the sea. I had never done that before and neither was Sean, I knew. We had to do this when we were in the south of France in the first month of shooting, but we kept making excuses as to why we couldn’t meet with the instructor. We finally found ourselves in Bermuda where we had to do that water scene. As the instructor showed us, none of us got the nerves to go into the water that way. “
“I remember we were in our scuba gear and her lips were very blue whenever I looked at the scene,” she recalled. “I kept saying to myself, ‘Oh my God, he has a heart attack.’ I tried to joke with him, but he didn’t get it. I realized he was petrified. I don’t know how he did it, but we went underwater and did the scene. But seeing this man show such weakness, he It was amazing where you knew he was scared. “
