The Yankees had a superb, seven-inning start from 21-year-old rookie goddess Garcia and a 7-2 win over the Blue Jays at the RBI’s four-night Buffalo from shortstop Gleber Torres.

The victory broke a five-game losing streak, but, more importantly, it meant they would return to the Bronx in the back of Toronto, second in the American League East and sixth in the postseason.
