Snowfall was announced last month Diablo II: Resurrected. It’s a remaster of Lord of Base Game and Destruction, and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch and many other platforms this year. If you become a returning player, you will be interested to know that you can actually use your savings from the original game on PC.
Speaking to IGN, game creator Matthew Cederquist explained how Aadhaar was not planned to save files older than two decades. The team just tried it and it turned out to work.
“Back when we were working [the remaster], We wondered if the old save files would work and we kind of turned it over and it worked. And we were like, ‘Well, that’s the best feature to date’. ”
While there was no mention of whether this feature would work with console versions of the game as well, the rest support cross-progress. So in theory, you should be able to save the file to your old PC in the computer version and then be able to access the console platform of your choice.
Even if you don’t have your original savings, it technically means you can start leveling a character of your choice in the original PC version (available on Bat .net), since the rest is the same game. Featuring new audio dio and graphics, and a few other changes such as improved UI, expanded stash and redeemed CD season.
