The leaks suggest that there will soon be a villain Aquaman look in the Fortnite item shop.
We have had several different Fortnite skins that have been released as part of a collaboration. There is a series of Marvel Fortnite skins, which were released the second time Epic collaborated with Marvel for Endgame. We’ve also seen the X-Force skins along with the not-so-secret Deadpool skins from the past few seasons.
As you may already know, the bonus aspect of this season’s Battle Pass is Aquaman, which players will be able to unlock after the Week 5 challenges launch.
However, just like the Marvel Deadpool Battle Pass mask and the release of more Marvel masks (X-Force set), it appears that this season we will get more DC masks in the item shop if new leaks are created.
Black Fur Fortnite Blanket
According to the most popular Fortnite filter, Hypex, there will be a DC mask in the Fortnite item store. Black Mata, a supervillain in the DC universe, should be appearing in the item shop soon.
Black Manta is described as a ruthless mercenary and water-based assassin wearing a high-tech battle suit. You might be wondering why Epic would release a skin like this during Season 3 in particular.
Black Manta is Aquaman’s most enduring enemy, so it makes sense for Fortnite skin to be added during this season. Not only that, but simply because he’s an underwater villain means he fits in with the current season.
We’re not quite sure how Hypex knows this, as there doesn’t seem to be anything in the files to suggest the skin is coming up, but it’s generally right in any leaks it posts. We could see the black blanket mask added to the files in the next Fortnite update, which is probably v13.30.

As always, leaked content may not make it to the game, but when skins are leaked, they eventually make it to the item shop. If this leak is true, expect to see the black blanket skin at the item store on Thursday June 16 when the store is reset.
The set will also include Black Manta Blades, which will be a dual-wielded pickaxe. It is unknown what the back bling will be at the time of writing, but we will probably find more information in the next update.
