Former UFC star Paige Vanzante entered her MMA gloves last night (Friday, February 5, 2021) for a back knock boxing debut at BKFC 16: “Naklam an Niya” on Ft.tv PPV from RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida. Unfortunately for the “12 Gauge”, that decision fell short against Britain Heart in the main event.
It took a long time as Venzant was walking around with a pocket and trying to work in her field. Long Heart was able to score with a lead job and tagged the former UFC fighter with a punch bar at the end of the first. Vansant responded with a nice left hook in the second before Hart landed on the last-second shot.
In the next round, Wazzant tried to regain control, but it was difficult to remove the “12 gauge” length and distance of the heart. Whenever she got close she would tedge with the shots. Every time Venzant tried to catch up with Hart, he punched a ton in the body. Wenzent did well to pull back a few points in the fifth round, but Hart already had enough.
