The 54-year-old Iowa woman approached the young bison when the adult dressed her to wrap her belt and jeans around his horn.
The animal could then run with her jeans on, but in the process, she knocked her unconscious.
The woman had perished like a sucker before she finally hit the ground, after which the bison returned to its herd.
The woman was taken aback to the hospital and is said to have suffered serious injuries but is expected to make a full recovery, according to KELO.
The incident happened while thousands of motorcyclists were in the Black Hills in the western park of the state for the 2020 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

People were walking along Main Street during the 80th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota last weekend. Although the rally usually attracts around 500,000 people, officials estimate that more than 250,000 people attended the festival this year
Custer County Sheriff Marty Mechaley warned visitors to keep their distance from bison in the park.
‘We want everyone to repeat not to talk to the fluffy cow – also called Bison / Buffalo. We’ve had conversations about the fluffy cows that sometimes block the road – some people get too close too.
‘Remember this is their park and we are the guests … give them a break and keep your distance.
The area is busy for the time of year with roughly 250,000 people flocking to the state as part of a 10-day festival known as the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The rally is expected to be one of the largest public gatherings since the pandemic began.
People are flocking from all over the country to a state that is proposing a proposal because of coronavirus restrictions, because South Dakota has no special borders for covered audiences, no mask mandates and a governor who likes to welcome visitors and the money that they bring.
