Bill, Trey ‘Davis White reaches 4-year $ 70M extension

Buffalo Bills Cornwack C Tray ‘Davis White, who said he plans to exit the season, has signed a four-year extension, the team announced Saturday.

The extension is for million 70 million and has a 55 million guarantee, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schaefter and Jeremy Fowler. The total value of the deal, which runs through the 2025 season, is $ 82.1 million and will make it the highest-earning cornbark in the NFL when it goes into effect.

The 27th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Sean McDermott was the first choice of the era in White Buffalo and the first foundation of the franchise under his new regime.

White recorded four interceptions as a rookie and picked up six league-leading passes in 2019, when he was named first-team All-Pro for the first time in his career. Since entering the league, his 12 total interceptions have tied for fourth place in the NFL.

The expansion before the start of its fourth season is almost unprecedented. Twenty-three Cornbachs were drafted in the first round from 2011 to 2016, a year before entering the White League. Only one, Patrick Peterson of Arizona, signed an extension before the start of his fourth season.

Bills have actively re-signed their founding pieces during the 2020 se fission. Leftist Dion Dawkins, a fellow member of White’s 2017 draft class, signed a four-year, $ 60 million expansion last month. The next guess is starting outside of linebacker Matt Milano, who was drafted by Buffalo in the fifth round in 2017.
