Kansas City Chiefs are not known for punting, but when he was called up, punter Tommy Townsend showed he would shine, as he picked up the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after Casey’s 32-29 win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. Townsend was instrumental in the Chiefs winning the fight for field positions, pinning the Saints within the 20s three times. Townsend equipped six times in the game, with a length of 61.
