Bill Gates is confident that almost all Covid-19 vaccines will work well

“I am hopeful that by February, it is likely that they will all be very effective and safe,” he said.

The billionaire, the founder of MicroSt.

U.S. The last few weeks have seen a sharp rise in cases, and Gates said he expects the number of daily infections to continue to rise. He said more than 2,000 people could die every day for too many people in the winter.

“We’re still climbing (in cases) and that mountain is expected to continue literally during February. And you’re likely to see more than 2,000,000 people die every day this winter,” he said.

He recommended that Americans wear masks and be vigilant about public health practices.

“Ideally, people would say, ‘Well, because medical equipment comes, so we can double with good behavior.’ “You know, try not to let your family die last in this epidemic because you’re ready to see it until spring, when the vaccine will actually start to reduce that number. And, of course, climate change will help us too.”

Giving people a working vaccine and getting a majority of people to get vaccinated will also be their own challenges. The logistics part in the U.S. is “a bit confusing,” he said, but he was optimistic that things would work out.

“You want to make sure you don’t waste any of this vaccine, but in a slightly incomplete way, I think the logistics will be solved,” he said. “I think there will be enough people who will jump as early as possible, people will see more evidence of safety, and over time, we will reach the 70% plus level that is needed to stop the spread of the disease.

Personally, Gates’ own Thanksgiving holiday has fewer family members than usual.

“It’s not a time when people will be able to enjoy Thanksgiving the way they want,” he said. “I have video connections with a lot of family members on Thanksgiving Day, but I won’t be with them to stay with Turkey.”
