Biden rejects Trump’s attacks on his mental fitness: ‘Watch me’

“Watch me, Mr. President,” Biden said in an interview with ABC News when asked about the president’s attacks on the Democrat’s cognitive ability.

“Look at me. Look at both of us, what we say, what we do, what we control, what we know, what kind of form we are,” Biden added.

Biden, 77, said he thinks it is a “legitimate question” to ask about mental fitness for any candidate over 70 years of age. If elected, Biden would be the oldest American president. Trump, now 74, was the oldest president to take office today.

“The only thing I can say to the American people … Watch me,” Biden said.

“I really think there’s so much about what’s coming out of Donald Trump’s mouth that is designed to be a distraction for the American people that he does every day,” she said.

Biden jumped in to say that “no president has ever” used the words Trump used to attack Harris.
