WAS SHINGTON – For people including Democratic nominee John Biden, two military veterans and a gold star father, surrogates reported to President Donald Trump on Friday that he called members of the U.S. Service “suckers” and “losers” while in office.
Trump denied the report.
“They are incapable of understanding service, bravery and courage. Their souls cannot imagine integrity and honor,” Khizr Khan, whose son died during the Iraq war in 2004, told reporters during the campaign.
“His soul is timid,” Khan said. Trump had earlier criticized Khan following his later appearance at the 2016 Democratic National Convention.
“I’m not shocked, but I’m surprised,” Sen. Tamby Duckworth, D-Il., A purple-hearted veteran who lost a leg in Iraq when a rocket-propelled grenade struck her helicopter.

Biden himself criticized Trump in a statement Thursday evening.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in an interview on “Fox and Friends” that he “never heard the president in that article tell him exactly about his military suckers and losers.”
