It’s not as thin and lighter as the flagship X1 Carbon, and its display smit is smaller, but the 13-inch ThinkPad X390 is a rugged laptop built for business. The component lineup in this configuration is shown on the ThinkPad T490: 8th-gen Core i5, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. The 13.3-inch display features a 1,920×1,080-pixel resolution and a brightness of 300 nights. You can get it for $ 900 with the code Thinkay.

The 13-inch Specter x360 is CNET’s favorite two-in-one convertible for premium styling, light weight and long battery life. The entry-level configuration of this customizable laptop features a 10th-gen Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM, Intel Iris Plus graphics and 256GB of solid-state drive. With Full HD (1,920×1,080-pixels) resolution, the 14-inch touchscreen can turn 360 degrees into tablet mode. MSI

These budget laptops avoid two common pitfalls – the older CPU and the lower-resolution display – which budget buyers often encounter. It promotes a modern, 10th-gen Intel Core i5 CPU, and a 15.6-inch display with Full HD (1,920×1,080-pixel) resolution instead of the low-range 1,366×768 panels seen on many budget models. 256GB SSD is the only disadvantage as you can find 512GB SSD starting at this price. The model was out of stock earlier in the week, but supplies seem to have replenished and are available once again.

HP

This 14-inch HP Chromebook has a 720p Touch display powered by an Intel Celeron CPU and 4GB of RAM and offers 64GB of flash storage. The display can turn 360 degrees into tablet mode. The deal went out of stock almost immediately when it started on Wednesday but is now available for in-store purchase. Availability, it should be noted, varies according to location.

HP

The Midrange Pavilion is equipped with a 15.6-inch Horizon Blue laptop AMD Raizen 5 4500U CPU, 512GB SSD and a 1,920×1,080-pixel display. It also has upgraded B&O speakers and weighs 9.9 pounds. Getting a full HD display and 512GB of fast solid-state storage at this price is a steal. Like the Chromebook above on Walmart, this deal is only available with an availability-according-location-available warning for in-store purchases.
