Listed below are the best armor sets and combinations we’ve found at Assassin Creed Valhalla.
Before reading further, please note that the Armor Sets below are subject to personal opinion and are not listed in any particular order as each set brings their own unique qualities that depend entirely on your playstyle.

Raven Armor Set
- Armor Set Bonus (2/5): Increase the armor as low as your health.
- Armor Set Bonus (5/5): Extra increase in critical chance.
Despite Ivory’s default default outfit, the Raven Klein Armor is an armor set to use during the full game’s early game experience, especially when you’re in poor health. Would be beneficial. As you learn the combat system.
While the Raven Klan Armor set is technically more than capable of surviving throughout the campaign, we recommend that once you find the game genre of your choice, you begin transitioning to another armor set that is more appropriate.
We only really recommend changing due to the fact that the Raven Clan Armor is not really an expert in any particular field.

For our boat totting friends who stay away from close range combat, look no further than Bear Arranged Huntsman Armor, as the early range based armor set is perfect for those who primarily use their bow.
In addition to increasing your range damage when hitting enemies from a distance of more than 20 meters, we recommend combining this armor set with a concentration of Petra’s Arch Bow and Nornier’s capabilities, as this lethal combination is essential for any archer.
With an increase in stacked speed from both the focus of your armor set and Nornier’s ability, enemies won’t know what it will be, especially when factoring in the triple stack of damage coming from your bow, ability, and armor set.

Hidden Answer Armor Set
- Armor Set Bonus (2/5): Increase the killing loss when crunched for 10 seconds and not detected
- Armor Set Bonus (5/5): Increase in headshot damage
Built for stealth, the Hidden Ons armor set is perfect for those who want to embrace their inner assassin, as wearing 2 out of 5 armor will see an increase in your killing damage and not be detected for 10 seconds.
While you won’t necessarily need to wear all five pieces – unless you use your bow to take full advantage of the frequently increased headshot damage – we recommend combining this armor set with something else that better supports your playing style.
If you’re trying to stay steely, you might want to consider mixing Hidden One Armor as a Hiddufok set, Magister’s Armor, or Gallock Armor Set, as well as each of the aptitude-based qualities.

Guide’s Armor Set
- Armor Set Bonus (2/5): Increased attack after critical hits
- Armor Set Bonus (5/5): Extra increase in speed
Clear throwback on the more traditional Assassin’s Creed armor, the Guided Armor Set puts a lot of emphasis on speeding up your attack.
After giving the mentor’s armor bonus, we recommend that you collect and run the entire set, as you want to take full advantage of the speed extra.
Combining armor with high critical chance weapons such as axes, bows, cutters and spears will definitely help you create the most unique variation of armor.
As crazy as it sounds, even running a dual-spear setup that we mentioned in our Best Weapons Guide will be a real treat, as Fafner’s Feng’s critical opportunities are already reaching the top 90s of base quality.

Designed for those who like to go into action, the Brigade Armor set is hard to see when it comes to short-range combat.
Offering Armor Buff when surrounded by more than 2 enemies and damaging your melee, we recommend running a full armor set to make full use of the set bonus.

Thor’s Armor Set

- Armor Set Bonus (5/5): Extra increase to stun
Thor’s Armor is a rare and powerful bear-aligned mass that focuses primarily on expanding your crushing blow to increase the power of your spectacular attacks, while strengthening your own defenses.
Like other end-game armor sets, we recommend running the full set of Thor’s Armor to make the best use of the set bonus.
One of our favorite go-to combinations for Thor’s Armor Set is the Sarcophagus Shield and Varin’s X, as both provide exceptional stun damage. Otherwise, dropping the shield and attaching Varin’s axis to Blacksmith’s hammer is another powerful option.
With the added bonus of increased speed when stunning the enemy and increasing your spectacular chance, Thor’s Armor Set can leave you almost invincible.
