Getting half of your weapon in both Warzone in Modern Warfare is half the battle, so let’s show you how to optimize Season 5’s AN-94.
Having the ability to customize your weapon to your style of play is one of the blessings of Modern Warfare. Gunsmith gives you a seemingly endless list of possibilities when it comes to finding your weapon.
But getting the perfect combination of supplements can often be a tricky affair … Do you really need Mo ‘Money perk to take an extra lock?
We did the laying and sourced the best starting point to go for the AN-94. To make things as easy as possible, we created one loadout for Warzone and one for Modern Warfare.
Best AN-94 loadout for Warzone
Consistency is important for the AN-94 in Warzone.
- Muzzle: Monolithic oppressor.
- Barrel: AN-94 Factory X-438mm.
- Laser: Tac Laser.
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip.
- Ammunition: 60 Round chest stomachs.
With Verdansk’s mix of open areas and short lines of sight, you want to be consistent across all ranges. Considering how you will engage your enemies will determine if you need a 60-round magazine, but otherwise you want to make sure your attachments have a negative impact on goal stability.
Combining the Factory X-438mm Barrel withTac Laser will significantly reduce any weapon route as it looks downwards, while the Monolithic Suppressor and Ranger Foregrip will help with range accuracy – and help control the weapon’s recoil.
While this loadout mostly revolves around having control over the recoil of your weapon, there is room to add an Optic as a preference for those long-range rifles. Just swap out the extended power for a VLK 3.0x and you will shake your enemies in no time.
Best AN-94 loadout for modern warfare
The AN-94 can be lethal at close range with these attachments.
- Barrel: AN-95 Factory 330mm.
- Laser: Tac Laser.
- Stock: Fully stocked.
- Underbarrel: Foregrip command.
- Limit: Sleight of Hand.
If you compare to other Assault Rifles in their class, the AN-94 is at least mediocre. But when treated like an SMG, the AN-94 sits head and shoulders above most run-and-gun weapons in the game – and will give the MP5 itself a run for its money.
With this loadout, mobility is important. While your target will suffer on range, your near-deaths will be unbearable (given that the damage per bullet is significantly higher than any SMG in the game).
There is room to exchange the Commando Foregrip for Stippled Grip Tape, if you are not too keen on the momentum in accuracy. Or if stealth is more your thing, replacing the Tac Laser with a suppressor of some sort would also do the trick.
Used properly, the AN-94 can be a destructive weapon. With the right attachments, you can rock the weapon like the legendary AK-74u from the original Modern Warfare.
