Bengals’ Joe Burrow trained with John Ross this offseason

Joe Burrow is now in Cincinnati training with his new Bengals teammates. However, it is not the first time that he has had the opportunity to train with boys that he will play with on Sundays.

According to The Cincinnati Enquirer’s Tyler Dragon, Burrow has worked with Bengals wide receiver John Ross this offseason.

Ross made a very smart move training with his new quarterback in what will be a contract year for the fourth-year receiver. It could be argued that he is the player who most needed a full offseason with Burrow, as Ross is online for his first big NFL payday next year if he has a great season with Burrow in the middle.

It’s also nice to know that Burrow had a chance to train with someone he will throw a lot of passes for next season. She would have liked to see him have the opportunity to train with all his new receivers, but the coronavirus effectively eliminated offseason training and made it difficult for him to train with anyone.

It also appears that Ross arrived in Cincinnati, where Burrow reported last week, so the two of them may be working more before the camp opens later this week.

Hopefully, that extra job Burrow and Ross had together will pay dividends when the 2020 season begins in just over a month.
