Today, during the stream of Granblue Fantasy Summer Update, we received some updates for Granblue Fantasy Versus for their upcoming content.
The previously publicized Belial got its full gameplay trailer, which showed his moves in all their glory, and the final teaser also showed us that the hugely popular Cagliostro will be taking part in the battle alongside him.

Many more things were also revealed, including Belial – themed costumes for Gran and Djeeta’s lobby avatars, Belial’s release date was September 24th and Cagliostro was set for release in October.
The remaining four characters for the second Character Pass are not yet known, though one of them will also be released at some point in 2020, with the other three all set for a 2021 release, likely earlier this year.
The second season, which begins with the release of Belial on September 24, will come with new balance changes for the entire cast and a reset to your level in the ranked mode, as well as the Season 2 Pass that goes on sale, including all 6 characters.
In addition, there will be an update tomorrow with five new chapters for the game’s RPG mode that will include new battles (including a Zooey boss battle) and also have Rankings for the new Boss Rush Time Attack mode and other goodies for those who enjoy the content of the game’s singleplayer. As previously announced, sometime in 2021 there will be five more story chapters for the main RPG mode.
