Before vacating her government bungalow, Congressional Secretary General Priyanka Gandhi Vadra invited BJP leader Anil Baluni, who was assigned the room for accommodation, along with his wife for a cup of tea.
Ms Vadra has been staying at bungalow 35 Lodhi State since 1997. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs had notified the Congressional leader to leave the accommodation after the Ministry of the Interior withdrew its protection from the Special Protection Group. (SPG). .

A source close to Ms. Vadra told ANI news agency that it is a positive gesture from the leader of Congress and that she is ready to vacate the facility within the stipulated time.
He will stay at his home in Gurugram for the time being, after which he is expected to return to New Delhi, the source added.
