Honestly it’s a little weird to grab it first, especially if you’re coming from a big phone. Some things make a little adjustment, like typing – but other parts of using the iPhone, like swiping from top to bottom of the display for instructions or control center, have been easier over the years. But arguably for the first time since the iPhone 8, Apple Play has created a flagship phone that almost anyone should be comfortable to use and hold in one hand.

The 12 Pro Max is really about how to use and hold, it’s still the phone’s surfboard just like Apple Plus’ other Plus and Max-size devices. Seeing it for yourself is somewhat misleading, as it is relatively similar to regular-sized models. It’s only when you see it in context next to another iPhone that its scale really hits you.

With features similar to the 5.4-inch screen and regular iPhone 12, this 8.8-phone phone can be perfect for anyone with small hands or small pockets, or just want something like a tablet. In my average sized hand, it felt incredibly small, which really shows you how much we carry in huge phones.
TechCrunch Adds that the iPhone 12 Pro Max, despite being the largest iPhone, does not look “exceptionally large”:
All four sizes were present and accountable. For someone who has been testing a large number of large Android devices in recent months, the 6.7-inch Pro Max doesn’t look exceptionally large. As you can see in the photo above, however, the difference between it and the mini is very pronounced.
