Bayern Munich XI vs Chelsea: Confirmed team news, starting lineup, last night’s injuries

Bayern Munich are without Kingsley Coman as they look to complete the job against Chelsea in the Champions League tonight.

The 24-year-old has been struggling with a muscle injury in recent weeks and missed training on Friday. He will face the last-16 meeting of the second-leg in 16 seats in Munich on Saturday.

Bayern boss Hansi Flick has selected Ivan Perisic ahead of Arsenal goalkeeper Philippe Coutinho to replace Coman, while Liverpool goalie Thiago Alcantara is starting in midfield.

“Kingsley Coman is not available, we have two great options in his position with Perisic and Coutinho,” Flick said.

“Perisic is a bit more dynamic in attack, but Coutinho is better on the ball and can play in more positions, than number 10 off (Robert) Lewandowski. I will decide [on Saturday]. “

Serge Gnabry scored twice in the reverse game and starts again alongside Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller and Perisic in the first quarter.

Bayern are also without Benjamin Pavard, which means Joshua Kimmich is moving from midfield to right-back.

Bayern XI: Neuer; Kimmich, Boateng, Alaba, Davies; Goretzka, Thiago; Gnabry, Muller, Perisic, Lewandowski

Subs: Ulreich, Hoffmann, Odrizola, Sule, Javi Martinez, Coutinho, Cuisance, Hernandez, Tolisso, Tillman, Musiala, Arrey-Mbi
