Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu has resigned, the entire board was also demoted from his post.

He replaced Sandro Rosell, who became the 40th president of Barcelona, after he resigned and signed on to complete the rest of his term.
During his tenure, Barca have won La Liga four times as well as the 2014-15 Champions League, but his tenure will be largely defined by the club’s failure in its final season.
After Neymar’s departure to join Paris Saint-Germain struggled to find value in the transfer market, Barca completed the 2019-20 season trophyless.
His 8-2 defeat against Bayern only fueled the unrest, proving the final straw for the president at Messi’s request.
