Banda Los Sebastianes’ ‘En Eso No Quedemos’ Reaches No. 1 on Airplay’s Regional Mexican List

The song follows the reign of “Mi Meta Contigo”.

Banda Los Sebastianes recorded their third No. 1, and the second consecutive, on the regional list of Mexican Airplay while “En Eso No Quedemos” climbed 2-1 in the July 4 poll.

“In That We Don’t Stay” (which translates to “We didn’t agree on that”) follows the six-week reign of the group “My Goal With You” in November.

Banda first led the Mexican Airplay regional chart for six weeks with his longest charting title “Through the Glass” (39 weeks listed) on February 16, 2019, more than three years after the first entry of the band in the list, “Indelible” (No. 39, September 2015).

“En Esto No Quedemos” increases thanks to a 13% increase in audience impressions (to 6.2 million) obtained in the week ending June 28, according to Nielsen Music / MRC Data.

With a 19-week promotion to No. 1, “En Eso No Quegamos” ties for the slowest promotion to No. 1 on the list in 2020. Sergio Lizarraga’s Banda Sinaloense MS also made a 19-week trip to the top with “I didn’t choose to meet you” on the list on February 15. (The last song that took the longest to reach number 1 was another song by Banda Los Sebastianes, “A Traves del Vaso”, with a rise of 21 weeks on February 16 2019).

At the same time, the new song climbs 13-12 on the overall Latin Airplay chart.

“En Eso No Quedemos” is the second single from the 2018 album by Banda Los Sebastianes In life, which was released among the top 20 on the list of Mexican regional albums.
