A person with knowledge of the situation confirmed Jackson’s positive COVID-19 test to Mike Jones of USA Today Sports. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the issue.

The Ravens reported additional positive tests early Thursday, the day they were to play their original game against the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers. The contest has been postponed to NBC on Sunday at 1:15 p.m. All signs Jackson exits and starts Robert Griffin III from behind the center.

On Wednesday, the team disciplined strength and conditioning coach Steve Saunders for failing to report coronavirus symptoms and not wearing his mask or tracking device constantly inside the facility. With four consecutive days of positive tests coming in, Ravens is currently facing an outbreak. The Ravens have already transferred a total of nine players to the COVID-19 / reserve list this week, and they have also had several staff members test positive.
Due to the outbreak, Ravens ’facility will be limited to at least Monday, coach John Harbaugh confirmed to ESPN on Thursday night. They will have to finish preparations for Pittsburgh remotely or elsewhere.
If Sunday’s game is played, then they will make a quick substitute for Thursday’s game at home against the Cowboys.
