Backstage news about Vince McMahon’s mood in WWE’s ThunderDome shows

Vince McMahon has reportedly been in a fleeting mood at some of the Performance Center’s tapes, but his mood has been great this past week, according to two WWE sources.

McMahon is said to be feeling pretty good because WWE is preparing for the start of shows inside the “ThunderDome” at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

“Vince feels like the worst is over and he feels the company can go back to where things were before the virus came,” one WWE source said. ‘He’s been in a great mood since they signed up with Amway [Center]. ”

Another WWE source notes that McMahon improved more at the last creative meeting. The feeling among people who have been around him is that he believes ratings for Raw and SmackDown will be very soon.

The source said: “Vince thinks it might take a few weeks to get back the fans we lost, but if they realize we’re out of the Performance Center and they see how cool the shows look, they’ll be back. “He thinks the numbers could go back to where they were in February and early March.”

There is now speculation among some people in the company that now that they are showing shows at the Amway Center that this will open the door for names like Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns to return. Even with the COVID-19 testing and safety measures, some felt there was a higher chance of outbreaks within the smaller Performance Center building. Those concerns need to be allayed now that they will be doing shows in the much larger Amway Center at least until the end of October.
