This sounds like a new spin-off show about the iconic bounty hunter, although there’s a possibility it’s the name of the upcoming Mandal Ndolorian season arc. We have reached out to Disney and Lucasfilm for comment.
Episode – which includes an appearance Real Luke Skywe ker tax (In de-aged form) – ends with a short scene in which Boba and Fenek Schund arrive on a violent visit to the palace of Jabba Hut, which is now ruled by BB Fortuna. After dispatching his old friend, Boba sits on Jabba’s couch, and before we confirm the December 2021 release, “The Book Bob f Boba Fat” appears.
If this is a show, it could well be that this is an off-f-event series, in the vein of the upcoming Disney + Obi-Wan Canoby and Lando Cal Cal Lision series.
Babatf will join the long list of Fat in-Development Star Wars shows, along with those announced and discussed at the recent Disney Investor Day – along with Obi-Wan and Lando, there’s Endor, The Acolyte, New Republic’s Rangers, Ahosoka, The Bad Batch and Visions.
The announcement comes after the tragic news that the original Boba Fat actor, Jeremy Bloch, has died at the age of 75.
