Available on Costco: your own private jet race

The wholesaler is offering its members a 12-month subscription on Private Jet Service Wheels Up. It costs 17,499.99 (it’s a private jet membership, after all), but includes 3,500 Costco (Costs) Shop card, .000, 4,000 flight credit and .ex access to special events.

Subscribers will also receive a one-year membership to Insperato, which, along with luxury vacation fares, “guarantees the availability of aircraft across the country for 365 days of the year.” That means you can book a flight with 24 hours notice.

But there is a catch. , 17,500 includes only the right to book flights, but does not include the cost of flights. Members can either “pay while they fly” or purchase additional “fund programs” – not sold by Wheels Up – which provide lower rates and lower billing fly times.

Wheels Up, a private aviation company that aims to make private flights “more accessible”, operates a fleet of more than 300 aircraft and has access to more than 1,250 partner aircraft, according to a product description on Costco’s website.
There is also a cheaper option. Customers can purchase a one-year-long membership for 99 1,994.99, which is 80% less than the full-price subscription, but does not include the frills and thrills of the Costco shopping card, flight credit and luxury vacation membership.
Although Costco is known for its discounted wholesale items and appeal to the middle class, it also attracts a wealthy customer. For example, millionaire Senator Meet is a fan of Rome. In an interview with Fox News during the 2014 presidential campaign, Romney claimed that he was happy to buy three packs of Costco’s Kirklland shirts.
The shopping club also offers expensive engagement rings, caskets and a chicken coop duplex.
Private jet membership comes as many people are afraid to fly during the Covid-19 epidemic. But it has also paved the way for other options that reduce exposure, such as flight and private jet booking – primarily reserved for Uber-rich people.
Wheels Up promises “safety without compromise” for its passengers, including twice-daily temperature checks for crew members, regular cleaning between flights and fresh air ventilation.
