Following the murder of a 55-year-old man in Kledering, the autopsy result has been confirmed. The woman choked on her own blood.

After the bloody act in the Schwechat de Kledering cadastral community (Bruck ad Leitha district), the preliminary result of the autopsy was available Thursday evening. The 55-year-old victim suffered six cuts to the neck and several other injuries to both hands. According to the police spokesman, Johann Baumschlager, the cause of death of the woman was “the filling of air of the sinuses and the inhalation of blood”.

Defendant got injured

The questioning of the accused 56-year-old husband will be held at a later date as part of the preliminary investigation, the executive said. Lower Austria is said to have stabbed his partner, who was a year younger, to death on Wednesday morning. After the attack, he himself called to the rescue. His wife died shortly after in a Vienna hospital. The defendant had been injured in the attack, but after a short stay in hospital he was admitted to jail on Wednesday night.

The Korneuburg regional court imposed pretrial detention on the 56-year-old man on Thursday. This is initially limited to October 8. According to Friedrich Köhl, spokesman for the Korneuburg prosecutor, a psychiatric report was also commissioned on the suspect.
