On March 27, a person who had meanwhile tested positive for Covid-19 took the train from Salzburg to Graz. Now there was an appeal to fellow travelers.

The Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES) issued a crown call to those who used a train connection from Salzburg to Graz last Saturday (March 27, 2021). Because they were on the same train as a person who has now tested positive for the corona virus.

Passengers on two trains are affected by the call. Because the now crown patient took the Railjet 11 from Salzburg to Bischofshofen at 10.12am, there the person in question switched to Intercity 515 at 11.12am and drove to Graz, where he arrived at 2.14pm.

Appeal to those affected

AGES now asks passengers traveling on one or both trains to monitor their health. If symptoms occur, those affected should immediately contact the administrative authority of the responsible district via health phone 1450 and inform them.
