Bayern Munich is the winner of the German Super Cup! Without David Alaba, the double winner beat runner-up Dortmund 3-2 spectacularly.
There is the fivefold or the first title of the season for Bayern Munich! In the German Super Cup, the double and the Champions League winners fought a fierce battle with their eternal rival Dortmund.
Bayern were already 2-0 in the lead, then BVB appeared with Superknipser Haaland and even pushed for victory. The hero of the day was Joshua Kimmich with his spectacular goal Stocher for the Super Cup title in the last stages.
Praise is saved
ÖFB star David Alaba was sitting on the bench despite a minor injury, while 80 million-man Lucas Hernández moved into Munich’s central defense for him. Dortmund was also mixed, Marco Reus took his team back to the field as captain after injury, storm tank Erling Haaland was again in the lead.
Dortmund bravely played forward at first, but then became too arrogant with a corner kick. Corentin Tolisso capped off a Bayern counterattack on the second down – 1-0 in the 18th minute.
Bayern are 2-0 out of control
A brilliant cross from Alphonso Davies found Thomas Müller’s head in the 32nd minute, who headed in to make it 2-0. Bayern had everything under control, but Dortmund also had a great moment. Erling Haaland prepared Julian Brandt perfectly, the blond boy gave Manuel Neuer no chance with a complete shot (39) – at 2-1 he went into the break.
Neuer saves from Haaland
Immediately after the restart, BVB defender Thomas Meunier suddenly appeared completely free in front of goal, but it moved like an NFL field goal. Haaland did better in the 55th minute as the Norwegian sank after a quick 2-2 win by the ball. Five minutes later, however, Neuer remained victorious and, in an almost identical situation, prevented Dortmund from taking the lead with a great reflex.
Stocher hero Kimmich for the title
After a lot was changed, the game became more and more chaotic towards the end. But Bayern wouldn’t be Bayern if it didn’t have another trick in store. Joshua Kimmich fought for the ball in midfield, then came to a conclusion and scored spectacularly in the fall as he continued to 3-2.
It stayed that way, Bayern took the next title, Dortmund struggled with their own assessment of opportunities.
