A Vienna family man was sentenced to twelve years in prison on Monday in Vienna for serious sexual abuse.
The verdict was only delivered at night: the 44-year-old has to be legally committed to an institution for mentally abnormal lawbreakers for 12 years. The Bosnian-born man had sexually abused his own daughters for years.
Investigators followed his trail through a well-known Internet forum, where the Viennese boasted of pedophile acts and had offered his daughters and photos to other men. He also posted a photo showing him grabbing the butt of a friend of his six-year-old son. According to an ORF report, he is said to have also offered this girl for abuse.
Threatened to break a child’s bones
According to the eldest daughter, who is now an adult and married, the immoral attacks are said to have first started in 2006. The Bosnian was living in Vienna at the time, but is said to have sexually abused the girl during his two-week visits to the family in their country of origin. When the boy threatened to blow it up and tell his mother everything, his father massively intimidated him. He will break all of her bones so that she is confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life.
The younger sister also abused
The girl had to see helplessly how her younger sister was attacked from 2009 onwards. After the family also moved to Vienna, the father of the family is said to have committed sexual abuse almost every day.
The prosecution said the attacks did not stop until the sisters set him up. While sexually abusing the younger boy, the older daughter filmed everything. It was only when the girls confronted their father with the incriminating material that it was all over.
Did he make a “demon”?
The now 44-year-old defends himself in court against these accusations: “I have never touched you the wrong way.” His wife incited the children against him because she found out about his affair with a younger woman. Therefore, his daughters would now portray him as “a demon”. He was not a pedophile: “You should shoot that person immediately,” he criticized, according to ORF.
However, an expert in psychiatry certified that the Bosnian suffered from a “serious sexual disorder” that could only be treated in an institution for mentally abnormal lawbreakers. In addition, there is a risk that the accused may assault other girls. With him you can see “no intuition, no will to deal with his inclination.” Therefore, the 44-year-old is still dangerous.
