With a current seven-day incidence of 284.4 cases per 100,000 residents (as of Thursday, 7:20 am), Tennengau is in the first inglorious position in Austria. In Tennengau, the Kuchl community is under quarantine and the ban on private gatherings and celebrations in the district, which came into effect on Tuesday, extends to the entire state. In Tennengau, Flachgau, Pongau and the city of Salzburg, all pupils from the ninth grade onwards will move on to homeschooling, and a registration requirement for statewide restoration will be introduced. Additionally, an event ban applies across Salzburg if there are no assigned seats, either indoors or outdoors. Also, serving food and drinks is prohibited. The measures will apply from midnight on Saturday October 17 to midnight on November 1.

Requirements for red switching
If the traffic light commission recommends the red color of the traffic light for a certain region, this means, according to the Ministry of Health, that the risk of corona in the district is estimated to be very high.
- Very high cumulative incidence of seven days in relation to the size of the population of the region considered
- Large number of recently identified cases, unexplained source
- Uncontrolled propagation of crown groups
- Predominant occurrence of local conglomerates with wide regional distribution
- Very high utilization of intensive care beds
- Test capabilities to the limit
- Very high number of positive tests
The Crown Commission is an advisory body and transmits recommendations to change the traffic lights to the Minister of Health Rudolf Anschober (Greens). The decision to determine the color of the traffic light and the implementation of the measures is then made at the political level.
Minimum measurements when the crown traffic light is red
The next meeting of the stoplight commission (Thursday night, note) and the decisions to be made now are eagerly awaited in all the worst affected districts. It was announced beforehand that the Tennengau is now red. The highest risk level is reached from a seven-day incidence of more than 100 per 100,000 inhabitants.
Unknown concrete measures
However, it is not yet clear what specific consequences a red switch would have for operation in schools, kindergartens, sports clubs or at events. The minimum measures for a red-crown traffic light are, in addition to maintaining distance, the use of a mask, reports the State of Salzburg. Exceptions apply to children under the age of six who cannot use an MNS for health reasons.
