Fresh snow in the mountains
In the east it also rains frequently again in the second half of the day, but little rain falls in Vorarlberg and from the Inn to Upper Waldviertel. Temperatures peak at 3-11 degrees with a partially brisk northwest wind. “From the Zillertal Alps, through the Tauern, to the Gurktal Alps, about 20 to 30 centimeters of snow collects above almost 2,000 meters, and sometimes more than 40 centimeters in the high altitudes of the Steiner Alps and Julianos, “says the meteorologist.

Under the predominant influence of low pressure, the unstable nature of the climate in Central Europe will continue into the next week and temperatures will initially remain below the long-term average. Monday is mostly dry with a mix of lots of clouds and only a few rains in the mountains.
