Faced with homeopathy and the laying on of hands, Eisner (Harald Krassnitzer), the grumpy brandy drinker and schnitzel eater, kept twisting his face. And since he did not want to be helped by an alternative practitioner whom he questioned during the investigation into several deaths, he dragged himself through the act with low back pain to the end.
As it turned out, the cases under investigation were related to the death of a girl. That had died of a simple disease because the treating alternative doctors did not want to administer anti-inflammatory drugs. During their research, Eisner and his colleague Fellner (Adele Neuhauser) met all kinds of human energetics and faith healers.
In our review we wrote: “At the end of the day, the public can imagine that they have learned something, but in the end the subject of alternative medicine remains a little underexposed. Let’s call it the globule effect.” We gave 6 out of 10 points. What did you think of the homeopathy thriller?
Another Austro “crime scene” with Eisner and Fellner is currently being filmed in difficult crown conditions in Vienna. It is about the murder of a prostitute and her missing son. The police thriller has the working title “The Nurse” and will air in 2021.
