Bludenz: A little boy falls 7.5 meters from the second floor.
Today Friday, a 46-year-old woman from Bludenz supervised her two grandchildren (17 months and three years). The woman was preparing lunch in the kitchen with the children when the 17-month-old girl climbed onto a chair in the kitchen and subsequently onto the 60cm-wide window sill.
Fall from the open window
The girl then fell 7.5 meters from the open window on the second floor onto cobblestones. “Fortunately, the fall was stopped by a planter on the first floor,” the police report said.
Wounded to hospital
The ER doctor gave the boy first aid on the spot and took him with the rescue to the Feldkirch State Hospital. The boy suffered injuries of an indefinite degree.
