The Viennese marketing data startup Adverity has raised $ 30 million from investors for international expansion. The US fund Sapphire Ventures took the lead in this round of financing, the other existing investors in aws Gründerfonds, Felix Capital, Mangrove Capital Partners and SAP.iO also did the same.

The marketing data platform founded four years ago has already received $ 50 million from investors. In 2019, the number of employees increased from 75 to 115. With the standardized evaluation and presentation of marketing data, Adverity wants to support companies and agencies in the implementation of the marketing strategy. Clients include Ikea, Red Bull, MediaCom and Unilever.

“We are confident that with the support of Sapphire Ventures we will continue to accelerate our company’s growth and help companies succeed by adding value from the data,” Adverity co-founder and chief Alexander Igelsböck said Tuesday.

The growth injection for Adverity is the second highest seed funding of the year in Austria. Construction applications company Planradar received more than € 30 million from investors in early March, and the refurbished Vienna Internet market received around € 16 million in mid-March.
