Vienna (OTS / RK) – Today, Friday morning, massive CoV testing began in the federal capital at Stadthalle, Marx Halle and Messe Wien. The fever was already particularly high in the morning hours, especially in the town hall. Images of the queues circulated on social media platforms: testers consistently displayed discipline and adhered to the rules of mask and distance. Despite the rush, there were only short wait times and extremely positive feedback from test takers.
Mayor Michael Ludwig said: “I would like to thank all the organizations involved for the drive and I am pleased that so many Viennese have already accepted the offer to take the test. On the occasion, the mayor also repeated the call: “Go to the test and help contain the pandemic.” At the same time, the town chief appealed: “Please abide by the rules of the crown. Wear a mask, keep your distance, wash your hands! Because even a negative test result is not a license, the test is a snapshot. ”
Praise from citizens and opinion leaders for the organization of the city.
Anyone who was tested the first day today had positive experiences. One citizen wrote by email: “I was tested. Congratulations on the organization and implementation of the tests in the town hall. Many people [dort], but it was quick. Great handling by all the organizations involved. Thanks a lot!”
Opinion leaders like journalists Isabelle Daniel and Barbara Kaufmann also found praise on Twitter for handling the mass testing in Vienna: “I was ordered to do the mass test in the showroom at 11:30 am and I’m back at the meter, negative.
