The Vienna Capitals won against the Graz 99ers on Wednesday. They won only 4: 3 on penalties.

The Vienna capitals won a game in the 10th round of the ICE ice hockey league against the Graz99ers 4: 3 on a penalty shoot-out on Wednesday night. The match went into overtime after normal playing time at 3: 3. Since this went goalless, the penalty shoot-out had to decide. There Marco Richter was the only player to be found and ensured the victory of the hosts and again the third place in the table.

Post shot in overtime

The Viennese took the lead through Ali Wukovits in the 9th minute, which Samuel Fejes immediately tied. Oliver Setzinger put the visitors ahead in the 26th minute after a counterattack and a pass from Fejes with a short pass. This time, however, the Viennese drew flatteringly with Ty Loney (32nd). Other hits by Setzinger (38th) and Loney (40th) did not result in a decision. The Viennese scored a post shot from Wukovits in extra time, in the end Richter fixed the narrow victory at home.
