Southampton are four rounds without a win in the English Premier League.
The “Saints” did not go beyond a goalless draw in their home game against West Ham United on Tuesday night, sharing the points for the third time in their last four games. Ralph Hasenhüttl did not train on site, but from home. Styrian, 53, had self-isolated after someone in his home tested positive for the corona virus.
Hasenhüttl, who had audio and video contact with his technical team throughout the match, is the third English Premier League coach to miss a Covid-19-related match. Previously it was West Hams David Moyes and Fulhams Scott Parker.
Southampton failed to capitalize on significantly more possession, missing the potential leap to the top four in the league and remain ninth. West Ham is four points behind 10th and has also drawn three times and lost one in the last four games.
