The accident occurred around 1 am on a right turn onto Perger Landesstraße. The 19-year-old driver from the Perg district lost control of his vehicle. The car exited to the left of the lane, collided with a railing and was catapulted back onto the street, where it remained on the roof. The driver and front passenger, also a 19-year-old from the Freistadt district, were able to save themselves from the car. An approaching vehicle driver called the police.
The two were taken to the Linz Accident Hospital for monitoring. An alcohol test performed returned a value of 1.90 per thousand. The driver’s license has been provisionally withdrawn from the test driver’s license holder, shown.
