After Alexander Van der Bellen found himself in Vienna General Hospital after a fall, Wolfgang Sobotka represented him at the wreath-laying ceremony on Monday to mark the anniversary of the November pogrom.
After Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen was injured in a fall in his second official seat in Mürzsteg am Becken, President of the National Council Wolfgang Sobotka (ÖVP) will take over the laying of the wreath on Monday on the anniversary of the pogrom of November at the monument to the Austrian Jewish victims of the Shoah at Judenplatz in Vienna. The commemorative act was postponed for half an hour until 10.30 am
Van der Bellen is currently in the Vienna General Hospital, where he is receiving pain therapy.
