The vaccine has reached Tyrol: today, Sunday, December 27, 2020, the first Tyrolean people were vaccinated against Corona at the Mieming residence and nursing home. The delivery of the vaccine from Vienna to the Tyrol was carried out by the Austrian Armed Forces.

Next week, the vaccination will be carried out in six other residential and nursing homes across Tyrol, before the vaccine is rolled out in all other Tyrolean residential and nursing homes in the first half of January. In January 2021, more than 24,000 doses of BioNTech / Pfizer vaccines will be available in Tirol. With double vaccination, more than 12,000 people can be protected. “
