55 year old seriously injured

A 55-year-old truck driver was trapped in one foot under a rear wheel while working on his vehicle in Unterach am Attersee (Vöcklabruck district). The Flachgauer was able to get the attention of the neighbors by asking for help.
The trucker was driving down the Attersee Bundesstrasse toward Mondsee. In the municipality of Unterach am Attersee, the man wanted to investigate a brake problem in his vehicle shortly before 9 pm, police report.

The truck began to move despite the parking brake on, the man’s left foot trapped under a rear tire. A resident heard calls for help and notified emergency services through an emergency call. The seriously injured truck driver was taken to the Salzburg accident hospital.
The Au-See and Unterach firefighters, as well as the police and the Red Cross were in action.
