In Längenfeld (Tyrol) there was a bloody act today. Two children, aged nine months and two years, were strangled. The father is considered a suspect.
The two young children were “forcibly killed against the neck,” said LKA Director Katja Tersch Tersch. The girls were found in the rooms of their two sons. The father apparently attempted suicide. He was admitted to the Zams hospital. “His life is out of danger,” Tersch said.
Murder circumstances unclear
Initially, the exact background was unclear. According to police, the 28-year-old was not officially known. There was no entry ban or anything like that.
