Marco Rossi’s chances of making an early appearance in the NHL with the Minnesota Wild are high given the poor position at center position. The day after the draft of the 19-year-old Vorarlberger, the “State of Hockey” franchise is reinforced in this position.
Nick Bonino comes from the Nashville Predators. The 32-year-old hikes for right wing Luke Kunin, Minnesota drafted 15th in 2016 and 101st in the Wild. Along with Bonino, Minnesota hosts the 37th and 70th picks.
With the 37th selection, another center is added: the Russian Marat Khusnutdinov of SKA St. Petersburg, with 1.76 meters, by the way, exactly the same height as Rossi, who is attributed his lack of height as the biggest defect.
With Bonino Rossi you can learn from a two-time Stanley Cup champion, the veteran won the titles in 2016 and 2017 with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
