The Vienna State Medical Directorate and the Vienna City Medical Crisis Team have reported 315 new corona infections in the past 24 hours.
As of Monday, October 5, 2020, at 8 a.m., 17,725 corona positive tests have been confirmed in Vienna. That’s 315 more cases than on Sunday. 750 new cases of Covid19 were reported in Austria.
Two new deaths

On Sunday, 2,980 crown tests were carried out in Vienna, making a total of 478,735 tests. The 1450 Health Hotline has received 3,321 calls. The service number of the Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES) 0800 555 621 provides information for the population.
Mask requirement in Viennese schools
Starting today, students from two Vienna schools will also be required to wear masks during lessons. The nurses will explain to the children “how to use the masks”. Many parents are dissatisfied with the fact that the mask requirement also applies to elementary school students. More here >>
