634 new coronavirus infections in Lower Austria

Lower Austrian state medical staff reported 634 new coronavirus infections in 24 hours on Thursday. The office of the State Health Councilor Ulrike Königsberger-Ludwig (SPÖ) attributed the low number compared to the days before to the late transmission of laboratory results. The cases reported overnight would only have an impact on the statistics for (tomorrow) Friday, so a relatively high value was expected here.

29,812 people were quarantined at home. As of Wednesday 26,538 were still registered.
