The Foreign Ministry has again issued travel warnings. They apply to almost every country in the world.
The corona pandemic continues to have a firm grip around the world. The numbers are increasing enormously not only in Europe. Due to the continuing uncontrolled spread, the Foreign Ministry has issued travel advisories for the Austrian population.
Except ten states
They apply from Saturday to almost all countries in the world. According to a statement from the Foreign Ministry, only Australia, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, Uruguay and the Vatican are excluded.
All tourist trips and other unnecessary trips, including family visits, are affected. Business travelers, travelers, and professional groups working across borders are excluded from this.
All people entering Austria must also undergo a ten-day quarantine. This does not apply to travelers from the ten states mentioned. Quarantine can be terminated at the earliest on the fifth day with a negative PCR or antigen test.
