A 25-year-old German mountaineer, very drunk, had to be rescued by the police helicopter in the Tyrolean Zillertal and taken to the valley on Saturday. The Olpererhütte’s landlady had previously made an emergency call because the German woman had become aggressive towards other guests and was no longer able to descend into the valley independently.

The 25-year-old climbed the Olperer in the Zillertal Alps alone on Saturday. After successfully climbing the top, he stopped at Olpererhütte and had various alcoholic beverages there. At around 6.45pm, the cabin keepers made the emergency call. The 25-year-old was kicked out of the cabin for his behavior. He lay down on the marked path near the cabin.

Finally, the police helicopter took the German to Tal and left him there. The Ginzling Mountain Rescue Service, Alpine Police and a police helicopter participated in the rescue. The 25-year-old is reported to the district administrative authority for administrative offenses.
