Katharina Liensberger is the fifth best Austrian

Katharina Liensberger went from eighth to fifth with the best time in the second race and thus became the best Austrian. Franziska Gritsch also seized her opportunity and drove up to 18th in the second race with the starting No. 1. A total of five Austrians made the top 15.

Stephanie Brunner: “I think I started well in the upper part, of course I know that I still have some reservations in the flat and that I still have to work there. In the middle part it was going well and in the lower part it still took me a little lower and then I could not gain more speed. The shape curve is pointing upwards and now is the time to continue working to be able to attack the top positions again in Semmering. “
Ricarda Haaser showed, like the last time in Saturday’s giant slalom, that she is also in good shape. Another top 10 result for East Tyrol.
