Youth gangs were up to mischief in Enns, now there have been arrests

ENNS. According to police information, three schoolchildren and an unemployed youth are charged with numerous crimes of bodily injury, duress and robbery in Enns. The victims of the events were students between the ages of 10 and 14 in the vicinity of the Enns school center and also in the Enns city area.

The children were beaten

By allegedly hitting other children, the students earned a reputation among schoolchildren as “aggressive bullies.” As a result, according to the police, they forced the bullied children to pay between 50 cents and 50 euros, in addition to drinks, food and their bicycles.

I bought cigarettes with loot

Some of the theft allegations were backed up with beatings. With the cash seized, the defendants bought cigarettes and luxury items. The victims were threatened with beatings if they presented themselves to the police. The victims were so intimidated that they did not tell their parents or teachers about the incident.

They arrested three people

Two schoolchildren and the unemployed man were arrested on 24 October 2020 by order of the Steyr prosecutor’s office and transferred to Linz prison after questioning. Another student was suspended from school, police said.
