Three days after a landslide in Norway, rescuers with the help of detector dogs found two more bodies in the disaster area. Emergency services discovered another death on Saturday afternoon. A few hours earlier, another body had been found dead in the area, the police chief announced. The search for survivors should continue into the evening.
On Friday, emergency services found the first dead in the area of the landslide. Before the three previous finds, ten people were missing, including two minors. Police have not yet released information on the sex and age of the three dead found.
The massive landslide occurred early Wednesday morning at Ask in the municipality of Gjerdrum, about 40 kilometers northeast of Oslo. At least ten people were injured and nine houses collapsed as a result of their departure. Around 1000 people were brought to safety.
